EVBox is ready to start integrations with Energy Management Systems through EEBUS

AMSTERDAM, April 13, 2023 — EVBox, a global leader in electric vehicle charging solutions, is now ready to integrate with Energy Management Systems (EMS) through EEBUS, the universal language for smart home management. With EEBUS, the company’s latest AC charging stations EVBox Livo and EVBox Liviqo can be seamlessly integrated with other smart electric appliances in homes and buildings for more efficient energy usage. By managing charging sessions with an EMS, charging station owners can improve and diversify energy consumption, integrating electric mobility with renewable energy sources to make it even more sustainable.

Since 2019, EVBox has been a member of the EEBUS Initiative, an open and publicly available standard that enables devices to communicate on energy-related use cases across different industries. With the rapid expansion of electric mobility, solutions must adapt and evolve to support EV adoption while considering the impact on electricity grids. EEBUS allows for better communication between different devices in the same place, matching the use of electricity with the availability of renewable energy.
