From commercial charging to offering public fast charging in France and Monaco

EVBox’s and SMEG’s collaboration began in 2019 to provide EVBox BusinessLine charging stations for commercial purposes in Monaco. Since summer 2021, SMEG has been deploying the first stages of its own EVzen fast-charging network in Southern France, largely based on EVBOX hardware.

The installations will be added to SMEG’s EVzen network, which already comprises of 150 fast charging ports in France. The main initiative of this collaboration is to advance fast charging infrastructure in rural and urban areas, where demand for charging on-the-go is high.

SMEG's DNA is reliability and customer focus. We wanted to further strengthen our partnership with EVBox, in whom we have complete confidence and with whom we are working hand in hand to massively deploy fast charging throughout France.
