By introducing a Code of Conduct for its supply chain, EVBox is taking an important step in deepening the dialogue with suppliers to comply with ESG regulations and the company’s core values throughout its supply chain and product development.
AMSTERDAM, November 23, 2023 — EVBox, a leading provider of EV (electric vehicle) charging solutions, is introducing its ‘Code of Conduct for EVBox Supply Chain’. The Code of Conduct, shaped by the company's core values, serves as a guide for EVBox and its suppliers on maintaining responsible, sustainable, and ethical practices as they source, produce, and distribute components and materials for EVBox products. The Code of Conduct sets out EVBox’s requirements and expectations for all levels of its supply chain, from direct tier 1 suppliers to downstream tier 2 and 3 suppliers.
EVBox recognizes the importance of a collaborative approach to foster and advance a network of responsible and sustainable business practices. Through supporting its suppliers where needed to comply with set principles, EVBox encourages an open dialogue and provides a space where they can raise concerns.
The Code of Conduct will also enable EVBox customers to have clear insights into its supply chain operation and to verify that such operation meets their own standards. By taking this important step of providing a Code of Conduct to its suppliers, EVBox plays an active role in furthering sustainability and ethical business practices.
Our company values reflect that we are passionate, reliable and human. Reliability is the foundation of our business relationships and, by extension, our charging stations, and a crucial element in today’s fast- paced business environment. To build a cohesive network of responsible practices, we ask our suppliers to not only comply with this Code of Conduct but also to communicate the same principles and expectations to their own suppliers, encouraging them to adopt similar, if not more ambitious, standards.Remco Samuels (CEO of EVBox)
The Code of Conduct is effective as of November 1, 2023 and can be found on EVBox’s website here.
