AMSTERDAM, October 2, 2023 — Markus Dehn, previously SVP of Global Product Management and Engineering at EVBox, has assumed the position of CTO (Chief Technology Officer) at EVBox as of October 1st.

Dehn has worked at EVBox for the past two years, focusing on the technological advancement of EVBox’s newest generation of AC charging stations, EVBox Livo and EVBox Liviqo.
It has been so gratifying to work at EVBox these past few years, from watching the electric era take off, to being a part of developing our newest AC charging stations. My career has been dedicated to accelerating electric mobility, and I’m honored to step up as EVBox’s CTO in order to further advance EV charging technology for the industry. Thank you to all the EVBoxers I’ve worked with for their trust, and I’m looking forward to the next chapter of enhancing our technologies to make electric mobility accessible for everyone.Markus Dehn (CTO at EVBox)
With the appointment of Markus, the company extends its heartfelt gratitude to Maurice van Riek, who has been EVBox’s CTO since 2021 and interim COO in the past year. Maurice will retire from full-time employment after almost three decades of working in various hi-tech industries.
His contribution to the development of EVBox’s latest generation of EV charging solutions and general professionalization of the organization cannot be understated. EVBox’s management board is very pleased that he will stay close to the company in a future advisory position. Both, Maurice and Markus have worked closely over the past year in preparing for this handover and thereby ensuring business continuity. On behalf of the whole company, Remco Samuels (CEO) warmly thanks Maurice for his work and dedication in leading the technology department during a rewarding time for the company in terms of learning, developing and paving the way for a new generation of future-proof charging solutions that EVBox has launched under his supervision and excitingly welcomes Markus to the EMT (Executive Management Team).
