EVBox expands presence in the United States with the California Type Evaluation Program (CTEP)

CTEP certification is required for all AC charging stations that allow public charging in California. It ensures that the design and performance of commercial devices, including EV charging stations, are suitable for their intended use, operate correctly, have all required markings, and prevent the facilitation of fraud. The certification process involves testing the device's design, performance, accuracy, markings, and anti-fraud measures, among other factors.  

The certification confirms that the design and performance of the EVBox Iqon charging stations are suitable for commercial use based on the set of requirements designed by the state of California.
