Customer Testimonial: TSG chooses EVBox for fast charging for its headquarters

Last year, TSG participated in EVBox’s Early Adopter Program (EAP), an exclusive program allowing trusted partners to test and validate the performance of our newest charging stations. TSG tested our DC fast charging solution, EVBox Troniq Modular, and installed one at their headquarters in Paris, France. The charging station has had its fair share of use and has proven to be a popular choice. So far, with over 500 charging sessions and more than 6000 kWh delivered, the fast charging station has added approximately 35,000 kilometers in range for TSG’s employees.

Since the start of our partnership with EVBox back in 2021, we have been selling, installing, and maintaining both AC and DC EVBox charging stations all across Europe. Following the launch of EVBox Troniq Modular over a year ago, we have been impressed with the reliability and the ease to use of this new product.

As a technical services company, high-quality mobility solutions are our top priority. Besides understanding the needs of EV drivers and businesses, we know what it’s like to install charging infrastructure.

We were thrilled to be a part of EVBox’s EAP back in June 2022. This gave our expert staff the opportunity to test EVBox Troniq Modular first-hand, which allowed us to provide EVBox with feedback, and validate their new product before it was launched. Even after the EAP’s completion last year, the charging station is still used on our site daily.

Usually, DC charging is seen at more strategic locations along the highway where drivers can quickly charge on-the-go, but we have found that using it in our workplace has satisfied our employees.

We were really looking for a charging station that is convenient to use for everyone. The Troniq Modular’s charging cable has a reach of 5 meters, and due to its flexibility, it can be used for different types of electric vehicles, which has really accommodated our parking configurations.

We really appreciate EVBox Troniq Modular’s functionality and usability. Our headquarters is based in a large city with complex infrastructure requirements, so it was crucial for us to find a flexible charging solution. On top of this, we wanted to make fast charging as accessible as possible to our employees, and have a solution that would fit their needs.

In terms of usability, the charger’s large digital touchscreen is extremely user-friendly and easy to navigate. As an international company, we have employees working at our headquarters from all over the world. The Troniq Modular offers real-time information in 20 different languages.

With personalized RFID cards, different users and charging session data is easily manageable and fully trackable. We know who’s charging when, and our users can access the charger without any hassle.

We were amazed by the new DC converter technology in the EVBox Troniq Modular, which has greatly increased charging efficiency. Our employees particularly love this due to the faster charging times and the amount of range that’s added to their vehicles in minutes, as opposed to hours. This is also true when charging vehicles simultaneously. The Troniq Modular dynamically allocates maximum kW power output, and adapts automatically.  

As a leading technical services provider, we understand the complexity that can come with installation and maintenance. Often, installations can get quite time-consuming and complex, however installing the EVBox Troniq Modular was very straightforward. Only two installers were needed, which made the entire process cost and time effective.  

We also found that some of EVBox Troniq Modular’s features provided less of a hassle when installing, namely the cable management system. The auto-retractable CCS2 cables made installation more simpler and the cables are easily kept safe and off of the ground, reducing the risk of damage. Overall, it was easy to install and the charging station has been very reliable.
