EVBox, a leading EV (electric vehicle) charging solutions provider, is introducing its DC fast charging solution EVBox Troniq Modular to the North American market at CES, an annual and international tech trade show, on January 5-8, 2023 in Las Vegas.
AMSTERDAM, December 8, 2022 — EVBox will introduce its fast charging station, EVBox Troniq Modular, to the North American market at CES 2023 in Las Vegas (January 5th - 8th, 2023). The station is part of EVBox’s flexible and scalable product portfolio, with power capacity of up to 240kW. This DC fast charging station is already in service across the European market. The company will assemble EVBox Troniq Modular for the US market at its Libertyville, Illinois, facility, where it also assembles its award-winning AC commercial charging station EVBox Iqon.
EVBox Troniq Modular can charge up to two cars at the same time. It has smart charging features, which allow for power distribution via Dynamic & Cluster Load Balancing, enabling energy optimization on site. The smart charging technology of this station makes it ideal for business, as it maximizes charging operation revenue. This makes the EVBox Troniq Modular a powerhouse in serving the growing demand for EV infrastructure and increased operations.
EVBox will assemble the EVBox Troniq Modular stations for North American customers at its Libertyville, Illinois, facility, where the company has been in operation since 2020. The product is slated to start shipping in the second half of 2023. EVBox is dedicated to establishing a local supply chain that is compliant with the applicable Buy America requirements. Starting in 2023, the Libertyville, Illinois facility will expand its capabilities to support DC charging assembly and testing. Through US assembly and testing, EVBox will be closer to its partners and customers.
