EVBox Expands its DC Charging Portfolio with EVBox Troniq Modular Compact

EVBox, a leading manufacturer of flexible and scalable charging solutions, is expanding its DC product portfolio with a lower height version of the innovative EVBox Troniq Modular infrastructure. The EVBox Troniq Modular Compact is a low height option, suitable for locations and use cases with specific height requirements (for example the height restrictions in the United Kingdom).

AMSTERDAM, November 10, 2022 EVBox Troniq Modular was introduced in the European market last year, bringing a modular platform to the DC (fast) charging industry which is built for businesses looking to invest in a scalable infrastructure that maximizes their revenue streams and grows with their strategy.

Following the market needs and having a strong collaboration with its customers, EVBox has decided to launch the EVBox Troniq Modular Compact, an additional configuration of the existing EVBox Troniq Modular, now with compact housing size. In order to enable the EV adoption in more locations and set ups, EVBox Troniq Modular Compact comes to provide a more compact solution, for sites such as underground parking or closer to the city, where height might be a restriction or may come with additional costs.

When it comes to fast charging, the station footprint or height might become a restriction, especially in locations where special permits are required. With the compact version of 2.03m, EVBox Troniq Modular Compact enables Charging Network Operators, Fuel Retail or other businesses to provide the same scalable and modular infrastructure with a power output up to 150 kW, while fitting in restricted areas, such as underground parking. Plus, the compact version still offers smart charging for up to three electric cars and hassle-free charging sessions enabled by the multi-language touchscreen and ergonomic auto-retractable cables.
