YourParkingSpace, the UK’s most trusted online parking platform, has signed a partnership with EVBox, a leading provider of flexible and scalable EV charging solutions, to provide UK EV drivers with a wide range of pre-bookable park and charge spaces across the country.
LONDON, March 2, 2021 – The new partnership between YourParkingSpace and EVBox is set to revolutionize the way drivers charge their EVs while helping the UK’s commercial parking industry make the transition to electric mobility.
To ensure UK drivers are never more than 20 minutes away from an available charging port, YourParkingSpace will establish pre-bookable park and charge spaces across the country at retail and hospitality locations. This initiative will provide EV drivers with peace of mind knowing that a charging port is available upon arrival.
The new agreement follows a successful trial at the Holiday Inn Express in Bicester, operated by Atlas Hotels, where five EVBox charging ports are installed. YourParkingSpace plans to install another 200 EVBox business charging ports across the UK at Atlas Hotels sites.
EVBox Group’s flexible, scalable, and accessible charging solutions will allow YourParkingSpace and its partners to increase their presence in the commercial charging industry as electric mobility continues to grow in importance.
EVBox intelligent charging management software is integrated with the YourParkingSpace app. Through the app, drivers can easily book and pay in advance for parking spaces fitted with EVBox charging stations.
The partnership will provide a seamless and stress-free experience for UK drivers, safe in the knowledge that they can pre-book a park and charge space that is available when they arrive.
