Amsterdam, October 16 2019 - For the second year in a row, over 100 EVBox public electric vehicle charging stations received a 'rainbow makeover' during Amsterdam Pride. This annual celebration of diversity and inclusion takes place on the Amsterdam canals, with this year's theme being 'Remember the past, create the future'. To help create this better future, manufacturer of charging stations EVBox and energy company Vattenfall have donated all charging revenues from these 100 stations to Dutch LGBTQ association COC. This morning, a cheque of €3198,20 was handed to COC-chair Astrid Oosenbrug.

Volunteer groups from EVBox, Vattenfall and the City of Amsterdam took to the streets (see below pictures) to dress up the public chargers with images showing a bright, sustainable and inclusive future. All proceeds will be used for the COC youth initiatives, which focus heavily on education at schools. More information about the COC can be found here.
